Happy #flexfriday ! Even though I haven't seriously worked my lower body in weeks it still beats my upper body by a country mile. And I'm going to tell you why: it's the roids.

ACTUALLY, real talk, it's the nutrition that I dialed in with @melissajane_fit , as well as keeping myself as active as I can be (lots of upper body days but with variation so I don't overtrain one specific area; it's pointless to go ham and get an upper body part injured and lead me to not being able to do anything). My point is is that even when you don't get a chance to train like you want, whether it's injury, school/work, or general life being a total shit show and you have zero time/motivation to get in there, all of your hard work and muscle doesn't immediately go away. Yea, you'll feel smaller and depleted, but that's NORMAL. Your muscles will (most likely) remember and you will (probably) gain it all back.

There are always exceptions and there are always personal analogies, but you worked hard to get to this point, and it won't disappear overnight. I always preach consistency, and this is where it will pay off.

2️⃣ 4 Sets: Tricep pulldowns w/v-bar (10,8,8,15) double drop on 4
3️⃣ 4 sets: 2 Overhead Reverse Grip Extensions on Cable and 2 Single arm Underhand Pulldowns (15,15,15,15) double drop on 4
4️⃣ 1 set: Straight bar Pulldowns on Cable (15 them triple drop)
5️⃣ 4 sets: isolation hammer extension machine (12,10,10,10)
6️⃣ 4 sets: Hammer Curls w/rope on cables (12,10,10,8) double drop on 4

Another conventional PR 425 in just a span of 9 days🤫!! Regardless of a flu charging in too. And I felt that I could definitely get a 440 today, cuz it felt lil light🤣🤣 people ask why? Where does the gain come from? It’s simple! Just work! I don’t just go to the gym then come back do nothing, I come back then do some homework, I do extra pushups, extra hamstring work, extra crunches, extra plank, when I couldn’t go to the gym for 4 days becuz of the flu, I’ve been doing those homework everyday just to keep myself not behind! And tbh I used to hate convebtionals becuz it’s hard! But I do extra work on my hamstrings and lower back all the time at home, to strengthen my conventional motor! That’s why I get a PR when I pull! 405x1, 355x4 beforehand. Then back workouts combined with pull-ups, lat pull downs, and other machines. Ended with bicep workouts. One thing for certain, which would be confirmed by anybody who even knows me a little bit ... is that there's never a first thought from me, about what anybody thinks of me. It's been that way since I was a child. I would have to respect somebody to even care a little bit about their thoughts of me.
