Have you ever wanted to do something, but stopped yourself before you even gave yourself a chance to try it? 
I have. With many things. The past couple of years, I have let my body define what I do. I have felt too fat or too old or think my knees are too fragile. 
I have for years wanted to try ballet. I just think it would be a great fit for me. I love classical music, artistic expression, am pretty flexible and I like structure and rules. I have watched a lot of youtube videos on it, but every time told myself: No, you are too heavy, too big, and way too old to start NOW.

Today I did not limit myself. I went in for a trial session, lasting 60 min. I am so proud that I actually tried, regardless of what a ballet body traditionally looks like. 
It was a MASSIVE leg/core day  and we even had to show movements off, two-by-two with everyone else watching, and I still had fun! I am pretty sure I am starting ballet this semester!!  
There are so many obstacles in life, do NOT limit yourself before even trying!

Let me step up on my soapbox real quick
.
It’s not all your fault to want all the weight off now. You’re super motivated, and don’t want to lose that edge when things get tough.
.
We also live in a world where almost everything happens instantaneously.
.
But here’s the truth, losing weight should NOT be quick.
.
Here’s what I believe to be the two main reasons why slow weight loss is more effective.
.
1. Physiologically, a slower weight loss yields greater maintenance of muscle mass.

So when you lose weight, you’re inevitably going to have a drop in your total daily energy expenditure (TDEE). Meaning you’re just not going to be burning as many calories than if you were at a heavier weight. This drop occurs due to a drop in your metabolism and non-exercise activity expenditure. It’s normal that this happens though, so don’t worry. When you lose weight slowly though, you’re able to maintain your muscle mass better than during quick weight loss. This results in less of a drop in your TDEE. So in the long run, you’ll likely to be able to lose even more weight.

I did a post on this a few months ago going over some research on this, so I’ll post that in my story for those interested.

2. Psychologically, a slower weight loss is better teaching you HOW you should eat.

I see this as probably the bigger issue. Rapid weight loss only occurs with drastic measures. And the reality is that these drastic measures aren’t sustainable. So even if you get down to an optimal body weight that you like, you don’t know how to sustain it. Learning the type of foods and the volume to eat them at happens when you pick a longer dieting approach. Then when you get down to a good weight, you already know how to eat, because you’re just sustaining what you’ve already done. This also why you need to pick a diet that is sustainable to you.

Have patience. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.

Cuando repartieron las rodillas a mi me tocó lo último de la caja, mandaron a traer un repuesto chino pa parchar la derecha.

Yo tengo Osgood Schlatter Disease en la rodilla, no es grave, tengo un rango de movimiento bueno y puedo hacer casi todo. Pero si yo me lanzo en frio a hacer una sentadilla, así, sin nada, mi peso corporal nomás, el dolor es estúpido. Y lamentablemente yo no juego futbol, asi que tengo que hacer sentadillas. 
Por lo que tiene todo el sentido del mundo que mi primer tutorial sea cómo anular el dolor durante el squat.

1. Dorsiflexion del pie: Relajar las pantorrillas y activar los tibiales. Esto determinará que tanto podrás flexionar la rodilla.

2. La toalla debajo de la rodilla sirve para hacer palanca, cuando reflexionemos la rodilla, esta creará un espacio y evitará roces internos, ahí aprovecharemos para mejorar la movilidad de la misma.

3. Por último, si tenemos los femorales muy rígidos, estos nos pueden dar dolor de rodilla y un severo butt wink.

4. Las vendas no previenen el dolor de rodilla, al contrario, comprimen innecesariamente la patela, es mejor unas knee sleeves, rodilleras deportivas. Estas deben ser de por lo menos 5mm. Las @sbd_peru_powerlifting
son de 7mm.

Single armed incline dumbbell press This is the incline version of the previous single armed movement. Just like the flat bench version, this movement is excellent for activating the chest.(Upper chest for incline) I like to aim for 3-4 sets of 8-12 while maintaining the best form possible. Along with this I focus on keeping the mind-muscle connection by slowing down the reps and really focusing on how I control the weight

I'm not a huge fan of Heather Robinson workouts, but I wanted to try this one because none of the exercises repeat themselves and I wanted to use my dumbbells It was pretty good and also included stretching at the end.

Remember it only takes 30 minutes to get up and get it done. You can do it!  Just make alittle time for yourself.

🤒 Иммунитет при приеме ААС падает потому, что в организме банально не хватает лизосом - органелл расщепляющих белки и повреждённые части мышечного волокна, которых, при приеме ААС становится больше за счёт увеличения частоты, объемов и интенсивности тренировок; как говорится - либо повреждённые волокна утилизировать, либо с воспалениями от инфекций бороться
 Существует такой метод определения предрасположенности к развитию физических качеств, как #пальцеваядерматоглифика (определение по форме дуг, петель и завитков на «отпечатках пальцев»)

Не очень люблю (точнее очень не люблю) готовить на местной «кухне» по ряду объективных причин, но, решили с одногруппником что будем готовить много и на двоих.
