Getting back into running! I have decided to change up my workout routines. Doing both boot camp and running every other day. With an addition of 2 walks during the day. I did a route that I have not done in a very long time! It wasn't my old pace but I know I will eventually get there again and on the positive side I never stopped. If you are like me and scared to run in public, stop letting that hinder you. I thought I would look ridiculous running when I started my journey but you don't and honestly people don't care! I get words of encouragement along the way and it's awesome! The other day an older man in Spanish said 'go for it, give it all you got'. So if you are scared to go out for a light jog, try today! You'll be surprised how good you feel. I started with running in intervals. Walk 1 block, run 2 block. Do what you can! decided to take a rest day today. i’m soaking up the last few days of summer i have left before i start my FINAL semester of college next week (i’m not crying ur crying). working and getting ready to move into my apartment tomorrow, so didn’t feel like working out today🤷‍️

i’m so glad i’ve moved on from my previous mindset. i used to feel guilty about taking a rest day when i had planned on going to the gym that day. now i take rest days whenever i feel like it. obviously some days i still push myself to go because i know i’ll feel better if i when i do, but some days it’s just as good mentally and physically to take a break!

If you don’t like working out, you won’t keep doing it! If you were to tell me 4 years ago I would love going to the gym I would’ve laughed in your face. When I first started out, it wasn’t for positive reasons. I was unhappy with my body and had the mindset that if I ate “poorly” I had to suffer and  workout. I eventually found a new reason for the gym—to set + achieve my own goals and improve mental health. Not only does working out allow time to myself everyday, but it keeps myself constantly challenged  and working towards something that only I can keep myself accountable for. I can happily say the gym is no longer feels like a punishment or chore—rather it makes my day. Drop the negative reasons for the gym and find the good ones that will keep you WANTING to go🥰

I get it. Starting something new is scary...I’m currently making a lot of changes and I’m scared. But I’m also putting full faith into myself. I know that I can do this although it makes me feel so overwhelmed at times.  I feel like I’ve never really been a risk taker until this last year of my life. I feel like I’ve always kinda let fear hold me back from what I want to achieve. It’s crazy to think that fear truly is the biggest reason why people don’t live the life they want.

Whether you’re starting a fitness journey, changing up your career, getting into a new relationship, moving, etc. just know that you can do this. You have to be your biggest fan for it to work out. You have to wake up every morning and tell yourself, “I’ve got this and I’m going to go out and get what I want.” Anything is possible when you put fear aside and let passion take over.  just some morning thoughts I wanted to share to help not only myself but hopefully some of you. 🥰

Here is a workout we did from the co-ed program 🦋 
CIRCUIT 1:  x 3
20 kettle bell swings 
12 reverse lunge upright row (per side) 
15 weighted push-ups
(NOTE: As you can see my depth is great but I am starting to round between my shoulders. It’s important to remember that as you get tired you will round so make sure you un round in between your shoulders)
30 seconds tempo v-ups
CIRCUIT 2: x 3
12 weighted side lunge 
12 single leg jump lunges 
10 plate overhead raises
15 ball knee tucks

Although I haven’t filmed in what feels like FOREVER I have been consistently going to the gym and eating well for the past 3 weeks and I have been feeling so good. I took some time off from training as consistently as my body needed rest and that is completely ok. I started realizing that my mind and body we’re exhausted and going to the gym wasn’t doing me any good so I instead took some time off, stayed active in other ways and when I started to crave a good sweat I came back and I can honestly say I have never felt so motivated and excited for what is to come🦋
I wanted to film my workout yesterday but the gym was crazy busy and I hate filming in a busy gym so filmed this core circuit for you beautiful people. 
AH I am so excited to be back and I have so many workouts, recipes and thoughts to share with you guys! 
OK SO HERE IS THE CORE WORKOUT: I call this core circuit the “Around the Core” Complete 4 rounds of this circuit with 30 seconds rest in between rounds.
10 heel touches (per side) 
10 SLOWWW leg raises
10 side plank with arm extension (per side)
5 mountain climbers (per side) 5 plank jacks + that is all! This is an easy core burner that can be done at home or at the gym or anywhere really as it is equipment free!

Last year I wore long sleeve to Gym Room in Tokyo to cover my Tattoos, and that was the only time I wore long sleeves for indoor exercises... This year, anyone has tattoo is prohibited to enter the club even u wrap urself like a mummydamn... So I can only do some simple exercise in the room with my little Whale  Sounds fun and funny This chair seems a very good choice
