Avo toast topped with soft boiled eggs  I  could literally eat this for breakfast every day 🤤 I sprinkled some salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and everything bagel seasoning  Here’s how I make the perfect soft boiled egg:
• bring a pot of water to a boil (you want enough water so the eggs are fully submerged)
• once boiling, slowly add the eggs to the water with a slotted spoon, reduce the heat to a low boil/simmer
• let cook for 6 minutes
• after 6 minutes, remove from the water and immediately put them in a bowl with ice water
• let cool in the water for a few minutes
• peel the eggs and enjoy!

Pork and vegetable potstickers 🥟 From the frozen aisle (yep). People have a thing where they think frozen or premade food is trash, but I honestly see nothing wrong with it 🤷‍️ When you’re desperate for dumplings (like me) frozen is JUST fine! Szechuan pork dumplings 🥟 My search for the best dumplings in Westchester continues! I didn’t really expect much from a place that advertises itself as “fusion”, but I gave it a shot and was pretty pleased

These dumplings had a nice thin wrapping and a tangy, sweet sauce. It was advertised as spicy, but DEF wasn’t, which kinda bummed me out  I was really looking for something spicy  but they still tasted good! Blessing your feed with vodka sauce once again, but this time homemade (and very impromptu)

I used Mezzi Rigatoni, which is basically regular rigatoni cut in half  but they’re perfect bite sized piece, and I find they don’t suck up as much sauce. Spicy vodka sauce recipe is in my highlights!

Because I wasn’t planning on making vodka sauce I had to change it up a little. This is what I changed for this dish (these aren’t all the ingredients you need, so checkout my highlights for the full recipe):
• 8oz can crushed tomatoes
• 3 TBSP tomato paste
• 1/2 cup cream
• 1/4 cup vodka plus an extra splash or two  #comfortfoodeats

I was afraid when I cut into the eggs they’d be overcooked, but I was v happy when both of them turned out to be perfectly runny  And that fresh focaccia bread? AMAZING! Soft yet crunchy, perfect for sopping up the extra sauce. Can’t wait to go back for more! #ComfortFoodEats

What an amazing dining experience I had at @frankieandjohnniesrye, and can we talk about how beautiful this food is? Rib eye steak, house-made tagliatelle (YES! ) with shrimp in a fra diavolo sauce, and quail scotch eggs on little pillows of mashed potatoes and a side of slaw  Everything was cooked to perfection and had amazing flavor. If you’re stuck in the habit of only putting Parmesan cheese on your pasta, I urge you to moveeeee away! ‍️ While parmigiana reggiano (the real stuff) is delicious, there are so many different cheeses to play with! 🧀 try some pecorino romano, fresh ricotta, fresh mozz, or if you’re extra like me - burrata 🤪 Don’t worry about being “authentic”, there will always be people criticizing you (trust me, I know ) have fun with the flavors and textures of different cheeses and step up your pasta game! #ComfortFoodEats

Despite this being an #ad, this is a 100% honest review of @realgoodfoods cauliflower crust pizza  I’m not going to lie, the words “cauliflower crust” sent shivers down my spine... no WAY it could be good 🤢 I’ve had some really bad cauliflower crust pizza in my days, but I like to keep an open mind and decided to try it. Let me tell you, if no one told me this was a cauliflower crust, I would’ve never known  It tastes REALLY good, and I’m not ashamed to say I could have easily smashed this whole pizza and more  it’s super cheesy, the pepperoni tastes really great, and the crust has good flavor. I think the only thing that gives it away is the lack of crisp on the crust. It’s not mushy, but it doesn’t have that crunch of a regular thin crust pizza. But in the end it satisfied my pizza/hot cheese craving and I plan on eating a lot more!  Pro tip: invest in a pizza stone, let it get hot while the oven heats up, and then put the pizza on it. It’s the best way to get the crust as crispy as possible without burning the pizza  #ComfortFoodEats
